The Bible Studies and King's Kids Youth Group resume this week.
The King's Kids have a special pew during the church service! Those who are 7 and above have the opportunity to sit in the back pew with Jordan. There will be quiet activities available as you share worship time with your Pew Mates!
The Craft Group meets this Thursday at 10 am in the Conference Room.
The Book Club will have it's first meeting this Friday at 6:30pm. in the Allen Hall
January's book is "Where'd You Go, Bernadette" by Maria Semple.
What are your dreams for "this little corner of God's kingdom?" What are your ideas about how to help us grow? We want to hear from YOU! NO idea or dream is too big or not worth hearing so come share! The group of "Vision-ers" will meet on Thursday, February 4th, at 7 pm. If you have an idea, bring it! This is a collaborative, "share-the-dream-and-make-it-happen!" group so come and dream with us.

One of the best things we do as a denomination is make a difference to people next door or half a world away! ("Around the world...Around the year!") Through the special offering we take on the Sundays around Ash Wednesday, we fund our "Week of Compassion." It is designed to be a first responder to people in a crisis - to give them disaster relief, emergency assistance, development, long-term recovery, and rehabilitation. But most of all, it act as the compassionate touch of God in the lives of people when their whole lives seem to be upside down. Because this ministry is funded by the General Church, 100% of your designated gifts goes directly into the hands of those people you want to help. (Compare that with the 70% of less than that goes directly to help with other agencies!)
