Lenten Study

LENTEN STUDY

Is our church administration a ministry of Love and Grace? How can we do the “business” of the church in a holy and God serving way? Are we doing the “business” of the church in a way that serves?  How can we be more effective in our pursuit of that ministry and all ministry? Is Sabbath present in all that we do?

The Regional Church has developed an ACTS class focused on the ministry of church administration.  While the class does not provide answers to these questions, it does provide a framework to help us discern answers for ourselves.

Your Board has committed to this class as their Lenten Study; the course will be facilitated by Pastor Greg who has committed to the class as his Lenten ‘sacrifice’.  If you are a church leader (or think you might be someday) please join us for these five weeks.

If you are a member (or ever have been) of the elders, the board, stewards, diaconate, Christian education, worship ministry please consider committing to this class. If you are involved in any outreach ministry including FISH and Opportunity House or if you are searching for a way to enrich your Lenten journey please consider signing up for this class.

The course is free. We are asking you to sign up simply to help us prepare enough resource packets.  Childcare will be provided.  Transportation can be arranged. If you have any questions please contact Pastor Greg.

Dates: February 28, March 6, 13, 20, 27 @ 6:30-8:30. The course is designed to be completed in 5 sessions, that is of course the ideal, please plan to attend as many sessions as possible for you.
