MAUNDY THURSDAY COMMUNION – APRIL 1
Led by our Elders in Allan Hall at 6 PM.. Supper provided. Relive the Last Supper that Jesus shared with his followers in the presentation “With Friends, In an Upper Room” and partake of communion.
GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE – APRIL 2
The Adult Choir will be singing a music cantata “The Lenten Sketches” by Joseph Martin on the Jesus’ life and his suffering on the cross. A multi-media presentation, it will feature famous artist’s paintings and scriptures depicting Jesus ministry, along with cellist Corey Wilkins, telling the story of the story of Jesus journey to the cross. The service begins at 7 PM.
EASTER SUNDAY
6:30 AM – COMMUNITY SUNRISE SERVICE
Four Vacaville churches are joining us outdoors on the hill overlooking the city as we celebrate Easter morning. There will be music, the Unity Church choir, praise team, a children’s story. Dress warmly. Come as you are!
7:30 AM – EASTER BREAKFAST.
Complimentary. Inside Allan Hall with pancakes, ham, juice, and coffee. No charge. Heaven’s Kitchen is preparing a delicious morning!
10:45 AM. EASTER EGG HUNT
For children as they look for plastic Easter eggs around the church grounds. Bring your camera!
11:00 AM. EASTER CELEBRATION WORSHIP
Trumpet, Hand Bells, and Choir share in joyous news of Christ’s resurrection. Process for the Flowering of the Cross; bring flowers/roses/carnations to place on the cross. Message by Pastor Mike Carlson entitled “Is It Too Good to Be True?”

HOLY HUMOR SUNDAY – APRIL 25
Enjoy good humor from a group called the “Joyful Christians” who spread the message that Christians don’t have to be straight faced and so serious all the time. That God must have given us laughter and joy to share in our life to make it more bearable. Pastor Mike Carlson will lead the service.
